In 1998, GS E&C formed a voluntary social service organization named ‘Deosamo’ to help families headed by teenagers and children and also the isolated elderly in our community. The service organization evolved into the ‘Xi Sharing Love’ organization, established at the corporate level across the company. Currently, more than 150 teams work under the scheme to provide services tailored to meet the different needs of the needy. Under the goal of fulfilling the social responsibilities that companies have to the communities in which they operate and supporting the healthier lifestyle of our directors and employees, the ‘Xi Sharing Love’ scheme operates activities required by different communities and offers services based on their needs. This ‘Xi Sharing Love’ scheme, operated by staff at head office and on construction sites across Korea, has been responsible for activities to help the isolated elderly, welfare institutions, and children that cannot afford three regular meals a day. ‘Xi Sharing Love’ represents the first step that the company has taken to realize its vision of being a Best Partner & a Top Company.
